8th Annual Recent Developments in Advanced Issues in Child and Spousal Support

This annual OsgoodePD program – designed and delivered by the leading family law experts – focusses on the more complex and challenging current and emerging issues in child and spousal support. This is not a quick summary of the year in review. Rather, it is an in-depth analysis of the critical issues confronting the family law bar. In this advanced program, you will acquire a solid understanding of the issues and practical applications for your clients.

This year’s agenda is still in development. Topics from past years have included:

• The Year in Review: Round up of the most significant recent decisions in the past year
• When is enough enough?
• Expert panel on How to Advance the Support Case, including Judges’ DOs & DON’Ts
• Key strategies for terminating spousal support
• Dealing with Retirement – Double Dipping and Imputing Income
• Can more than just the table amount of child support be ordered to equalize NDI?
• View from the Bench and Trenches: an interactive discussion with senior judges and lawyers.

Fees

Fees include attendance, program materials, continental breakfast, lunch and break refreshments.

Group Discounts

OsgoodePD offers group rates for both on site and webcast formats. Please note these are only available when registering for members of the same organization, at the same time, and payment is made with one invoice.

Program Changes

We will make every effort to present the certificate program as advertised, but it may be necessary to change the dates, location, speakers or content with little or no notice. In the event of program cancellation, York University and Osgoode Hall Law School’s liability is limited to reimbursement of paid fees.

Cancellations and Substitutions

Substitution of registrants is permitted at any time. If you are unable to find a substitute, a full refund is available if a cancellation request is received in writing 14 days prior to the program date. If a cancellation request is made with less than 14 days notice, a $75 administration fee will apply. No other refund is available.
