This program is designed to help you assess and mitigate your risk, and to aid you in making more informed decisions that go to the heart of your business and professional reputation.

- Key contractual provisions, including standard of care, indemnities, warranties and liquidated damages
- Risk management and negotiating strategies when concluding contracts
- Understanding what your insurance covers … and what it doesn’t
- Insurable vs. non-insurable risk – where is the line?
- How and when to engage with the insurer
- Non-insurable business risks – identifying and managing them
- Managing common areas of liability exposure, including sub-consultant risk, BIM risks and the altered risk profile in Design-Build, P3s and AFPs
- Dealing with the owner’s custom contract changes – common scenarios and examples
- Opportunistic deficiency and delay claims – identifying and managing a set up claim
