Professional responsibility is undergoing a profound reset in response to cultural change: are you ready?
This new program is designed to fully meet the Law Society of Ontario’s Equity and Inclusion Professionalism CPD requirement.
Members of the legal profession – both lawyers and licensed paralegals – have a special responsibility to respect the requirements of human rights law and to honour the obligation not to discriminate. That requirement, along with other core obligations such as integrity, competence and the provision of quality service, makes cultural competence a critical job skill of growing importance.
Interactive components built into each session will give attendees the opportunity to engage more deeply with the principles under discussion and to build new skills and enhance existing ones.
