Virtually all matters now involve eDiscovery. With the sheer volume of discoverable electronic information continuing to rise, the demands and complexities involved in the eDiscovery process has increased. At the same time, as a sole practitioner, in-house counsel, associate or partner in a law firm, you’re continually faced with increased demands from your clients on how to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.

Whether acting for plaintiff or defence, or are in-house counsel, implementing effective eDiscovery practices, strategies and tactics result in greater efficiencies and cost reductions. • Understanding the differences between privileged vs. confidential information, and the corresponding obligations
• Knowing who – and when – to call in for help
• Tactics for handling complex ethical situations – steps to take when in receipt of confidential or privileged information; what to do if you suspect the other party is deleting information
