The annual must-attend event for anyone working in the accident benefits field. This year’s program is particularly timely in view of increased experience with the new Licence Appeal Tribunal regime. Includes both plaintiff’s and defendants’/insurers’ perspectives on the most pressing (or perennially vexing) AB issues and professional dilemmas.

Topics will reflect the state of law and practice as at March 2018, including:

  • The most important AB cases over the previous twelve months, and their practical implications
  • Current procedure at the Licence Appeal Tribunal
  • Limitation periods in AB practice
  • Catastrophic impairment: where the law currently stands and appears to be heading
  • The growing importance of written advocacy in AB cases, and how to master it
  • Ethical and professional issues for lawyers and paralegals in AB cases
