Michael Lyle

Michael Lyle is the General Counsel and Vice President, Legal, Aboriginal and Regulatory Affairs, for the OPA.
Mr. Lyle joined the OPA in 2005 as General Counsel. He is responsible for legal services, First Nation and Métis relations and regulatory affairs.
Prior to joining the OPA, Mr. Lyle was counsel for the Ontario Energy Board and, before that, counsel at the Ministry of Energy. Mr. Lyle has extensive experience in the regulation of the electricity sector in Ontario.
Mr. Lyle obtained his law degree from the University of Toronto and also holds a BA in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.
