Charting and documentation is a critical task for the nursing professional. However, if it is not done properly, this daily task can become fraught with legal risk and liability. Failure to understand and prevent these risks can be costly and result in significant legal, professional and personal consequences. Designed by legal and health experts, this program will equip nurses with the tools and information they need to implement and follow effective documentation and charting practices.

This intensive one-day course, taught by a faculty of health law experts will explain the law around charting and documentation and how it applies, from the unique perspective of the professional nurse.
